More Doves

There’s nothing newsworthy about doves on the roof. And, as much as I hate to admit it, a gutter full of twigs is not unusual, either.

However, in this instance the two are related.

It wouldn’t be my first choice, were I seeking a place to nest, but she seems content.

Fortunately, this part of the roof doesn’t drain much. As long as we don’t get any tropical storms, the nest should be safe.

Love it! She knows what she wants! Hopefully all will turn out well for her and her babes.

I love doves and this one is pretty – the tropical storm out there is supposed to past east of us so will keep my fingers crossed. Will look forward to birth when time comes. (Reading backwards in order of when received – will try to catch up. Thanks for very kind note – still having after effects).
