A Visit from a Jumping Spider (arachnophobia alert!)

He might have wandered in to escape the weather, or he might have simply been exploring. Either way, our coffee table is not the proper habitat for a jumping spider.

After taking these photos, I used the All-Purpose Bug Relocation System (a glass and a postcard) to move him into one of the flower beds.

How very Budha of you. I might have opted for the vacuum removal method. Cute as he may be…

I couldn’t bear to kill him. That’s part of why it was necessary to take him outside. He was in grave danger on the coffee table, where I tend to toss my purse and books and remotes…

I have a very similiar ‘bug relocation system’, Rae. Which drives my mother (who I live with) crazy! 🙂
